Everything you need to know about this feature.
You create a professional invoice inside the Truman dashboard in under 30 seconds — specifying the amount in USD (denominated in USDC), client details, and due date. Truman generates a shareable invoice link. Your client opens it and pays directly from their crypto wallet. You receive USDC in your Truman account instantly, and the invoice is automatically marked as paid.
Currently, Truman invoices are paid in USDC. Your client needs a wallet with USDC (a free 1-minute setup). We are actively developing fiat payment integrations (credit card, bank transfer) that will allow clients to pay in USD or EUR while you receive USDC — without any setup required on your client's side.
When a client pays a Truman invoice, the payment is matched to the invoice automatically in real time — no manual matching, no CSV imports, no spreadsheet updates. Truman records the transaction, updates your balance, and marks the invoice paid, all within seconds of the on-chain confirmation.
Payment arrives in your Truman account within 60 seconds of your client initiating the transfer on-chain. There are no bank processing windows, no cut-off times, and no weekend delays. USDC settles 24/7, including weekends and public holidays.
Truman invoices are denominated in USD via USDC, which is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. Since USDC is dollar-stable, there is no currency conversion uncertainty — both you and your client know exactly how much is owed and paid. Any on-ramp or off-ramp fees are among the lowest available in the market. Multi-currency invoice support (EUR, GBP, etc.) is on our roadmap.
There is no upper limit on individual invoice amounts. You can invoice clients for any amount in USDC, whether $100 or $1,000,000. Truman charges the same flat 0.6% fee (min. $3) regardless of invoice size — with no additional charges for large transactions.
Yes. Your Truman dashboard shows the status of every invoice — pending, sent, viewed, partially paid, or paid in full. Because payments happen on-chain, status updates are instantaneous and verifiable. You can also set up email notifications for when invoices are viewed or paid.
